	he C.C.V.S. & Farmacy (est. 1980) are located seven miles from metropolitan downtown Woodland, California (About 30 miles NW of Sacramento). We work with pleasure and performance horses, dogs, cats, and livestock. During our first decade, we practiced conventional medicine and surgery almost exclusively. Today, we practice Holistic Veterinary Medicine (i.e., we also use, safe, effective and non-invasive complementary techniques). This site is about our complementary techniques and how they can help your animal -- even if you do not live near us! Read on to learn about a new technique we developed which allows us to test animals by phone!

	Yes, we are "into" animals. We have eleven Peruvian Paso horses, four dogs (with a total of 13 legs -- Hint: two dogs have all four.), seven cats (: with all 28 legs :), a flock of pea fowl and various other livestock.


	Before you come to visit us, you need to call first and make an appointment. Besides examining patients at our office, we also make house/ranch calls. We would hate to miss you because we were away in the mobile unit. What if you don't live near our practice? No Problem! After several years of experiments we can now perform our muscle testing procedures by telephone! With a little extra easy-to-do effort, we get the same good results as if the patient were in our own exam room. Click here if you want to learn more about our techniques for Telephone Testing. Special Note to Referring Veterinarians:

We appreciate your referrals of interesting cases. It is our inflexible policy to provide consultation (second opinion) services for YOUR Client and patient. If you wish, we can provide our service in your Clinic -- in person or by telephone.
If possible, we prefer that you perform all ancillary tests and remain the primary care provider. We will be happy to provide you with all of our test results and recommendations so that you can best follow the progress of each case you send us.
If you are interested, we will be happy to provide training in the use of techniques we use for you and/or your Staff. If you have questions on a case in progress, we will answer them promptly by e-mail.
